We learn that putting ourselves first sometimes has unexpected results. And examples of the widow and the Macedonians show us that giving is a voluntary gesture that takes incredible faith and trust in God. They show us that anyone can participate in funding God’s work. These examples show us that this matters to God. He takes notice and his work is glorified when we offer him our best. And when are our best, we are the church… So GO & Be the church.
