Worship is our response to God taking the initiative In Genesis God walked in the garden, looking for Adam and Eve. We see in the New Testament Jesus drew men and women to himself (John 12: 32). 30 Jesus said, “This voice was for your benefit, not mine. 31 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. 32 And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”
Scripture is full of examples of God making the effort to restore, and maintain fellowship with people. God is like the father of the prodigal who upon seeing his son a long way off, rushes out to welcome him back. So we mist recognize that God has already made the initial reach out to us and contuniues to do so. How we respond is where I want to go today with you.
